Most Saturdays, my husband and I get up early to work out. I do a Camp Gladiator workout. He runs his usual 5k route.
Most Saturdays, I write with my writing group. We share our projects, write in silence, then celebrate one another's accomplishments.
Most Saturdays, my husband stays home, seated in is favorite spot on the couch with his laptop on his lap. The television is on...watching him. I often have to ask him to turn it down.
Most Saturdays, my son wakes up whenever, showers, and requests to be dropped off at the local skate park.

This Saturday, my Princey-Poo-Poo and I got in early-afternoon naps in complete silence, because we had the entire house to ourselves this Saturday.
Donnetta, I LOVE this format!! I'm glad you enjoyed your day, especially the nap in complete silence. Happy weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this reflection of your Saturday. It sounds like you took care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteYeah for nappy snuggles with Prince! Sounds like a perfect Saturday!!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh - love the structure! I may have to borrow this. Also, I love that you have a Saturday writing group. Jealous! I can completely relate to relishing a house to oneself!
ReplyDeleteNaps. Silence. Solitude. There are worse things, Donnetta... =)
