I love my coffee black.
But, recently, I have not been able to enjoy it.
The kinds of coffee I had previously enjoyed seemed to be more bitter than I remember.
In addition, I started experiencing GI issues after a cup.
I had heard that coffee can contain differing levels of acidity.
So, I did a bit of research, and I found a brand that I can purchase locally.
YAY, ME!
Now, I feel like a grown-up coffee drinking...more grown-up than before.
I measure and brew ground coffee my K-cup for the Keurig.
That makes me a grown-up coffee drinker, right?
I'm the same way with my stomach - only one cup and it has to be the right kind. We are totally grown ups!
ReplyDeleteNice that you found a local brand that is less acidic. I used to measure out my coffee into the K-cup filter too. So yes, I will say that it makes you a grown up coffee drinker. LOL. I may need to write a post about the coffee snob ways that I act sometimes. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love posts about coffee. Thanks for the tip about acidity; I may be growing up myself.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about coffee. I always enjoy a cup in the morning -- but I take mine with cream and sugar.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! A grown up! I'm so glad you could find one that is less acidic for you - the morning coffee would be hard to give up!!!
ReplyDeleteI will never grow up. I hate coffee. I have always felt left out from the coffee drinkers group.
