Not Wal~Mart
There was a time in our marriage when Rodney and I would go on dates...to Wal~Mart.
His philosophy was anytime we went to Wal~Mart without the kids, it was a date.
This evening we went on a real date.
we had a nice dinner and great conversation at
Texas Roadhouse;
not Wal~Mart.
Donnetta, what a pleasant opportunity to be able to upgrade your date spot. My hubby and I got to enjoy a lovely supper out, as well. So glad you were able to mix it up a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the opening: "There was a time in our marriage..." It's fun how you contrast that with your date now. It hints at so many other changes.
